Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A CLASS?

Find the class you would like to join under the "Weekly Classes" tab. Click on the button to register and complete the form attached. You will receive a confirmation message after registering and Miss Jen will be in contact by e-mail before you start. If a class is full then you will get a notice when trying to enroll. To be put on a wait list please e-mail Miss Jen at jen@learningladdergym.com

HOW DO I PAY FOR CLASS?

Choose what payment option you prefer when you register for a class. You can bring exact cash or a check to Learning Ladder Gymnastics on the first day of class, pay by credit card, or choose an ACH bank transfer. We will send you an invoice if you would like to pay by credit card (3% fee) or for an ACH bank transfer (1% fee). There is a $10 late fee charge for any payment that is over one week late.

WHAT ARE THE CLASS PROCEDURES?

When you arrive for class both parent and child need to wait in the parent viewing area until your child's teacher calls them out on the floor for class. Parents and siblings must remain in the parent viewing area during class (unless participating in a parent & tot class). There is a small siblings area with coloring and other activities for them to do to help keep them occupied. We ask parents to try to refrain from calling out to their child during class to minimize distractions.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO CLASS?

Children should come to class in something that they can comfortably and easily be able to move around in. No jeans or dresses. Leotards are a great option but not required. Girls with long hair should have hair pulled back out of their faces and no long jewelry. Children will go barefoot during class.

WHAT IS YOUR MISSED CLASS POLICY?

Due to smaller class sizes and for consistency in our classes, we do not offer make-ups for missed classes. There will not be refunds for missed classes. If something comes up that interferes with you coming to class for more than one class in a session, please reach out to us and we will do our best to work with each family on an individual basis.

Learning Ladder Gymnastics continues to do our part in keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible. We ask that you keep your child home if they show any sign of illness. We sanitize all mats and equipment after each class and have hand sanitizers/hand washing stations easily accessible.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A LEARNING LADDER CLASS?

From the moment you step through our doors until you leave we want to make that experience special and worthwhile for all. We truly treat all of our athletes and their families like family. There is so much thought and passion that goes into our lessons. Every detail has been strategically designed to make class both fun and educational. You should expect your child to receive personalized instruction even in a group setting. We follow USA Gymnastics skill progression and strive to bring a quality gymnastics program while meeting the needs of each individual child. Our classes are truly unique and one of a kind. We teach the child first and the gymnast second.

Why learning ladder?

our blueprint for success:

Here at Learning Ladder we believe each child is unique and special and deserves a supportive and compassionate environment where they can grow and reach their fullest

potential both physically, socially, and academically.

Our program can be compared to that of designing a blueprint for building a house...

*Houses are all unique and individual to its owner - our programs are truly special and unlike our fellow competitors. We offer many specialty programs in addition to our high quality gymnastics classes so whether you want to do gymnastics just for fun or are looking to train at a higher level there is something for everyone!

*Houses need a solid foundation - in order to learn more challenging gymnastics skills you need to have a solid foundation and at Learning Ladder that's what we do. Our classes start at the age of 2. From the very beginning we teach correct terminology and proper form and technique to get our gymnasts off on the right path.

*Houses need floor plans - we take great pride in our creative lesson plans that not only build upon each other but also are a ton of FUN! Our weekly themes makes each class different than the previous one.

*Houses need contractors and other professionals to build it correctly - our instructors not only are well versed in gymnastics but also have specialties in other areas that they incorporate into the classes. We are certified teachers, mothers, ect.

*Houses need to be decorated to feel like home - we love being a small business and truly getting to know the families that we serve. In fact, we consider them all apart of our extended family! When you walk through our doors it should feel like coming home. Even though we all have different personalities and likes (same as how some homeowners prefer granite counter tops or gray wall paint) we not only support that individuality but in fact celebrate it.

So while it takes a lot of time, effort, planning, and love that goes into building a house we know that it is all worth it in the end. We want our students to LEARN and take the proper steps to climb the LADDER of success!
